音樂原住民簡介

土生土長、現於賽馬會創意藝術中心定居的兩位的音樂原住民：遊走於中樂圈與填詞界的許少榮、擅奏中西彈撥樂器的蔡美華。二人酷愛本土原創音樂，亦不忘承傳傳統文化之重責，樂意與各方友好接觸，共同開墾音樂創意土壤，並為大家開辦各類音樂創作、歌詞創作及中西樂器的課程，近年銳意發展多媒體及即興音樂表演藝術。現以Violet名義推出《Mirage劇場原聲唱片》。Violet為紫羅蘭，取其生命力強，內在及有個性之寓意。

With a passion for original Hong Kong Pop music, Ivan Hui, a lyricist as well as a professional Chinese flute performer, works hand in hand with Irene Choi, a plucked string instruments expert to offer different music courses and expanding the horizon of music while embracing our valuable traditions. The objective of our foundation is to utilize various artistic aspects like music, dancing and drama to achieve cross-media performance. Our goal is to pursue a new form of artistic performance, to enhance the creativity of local art. They now release the soundtrack of Mirage using a new name as “Violet”.

蔡美華　CHOI Mei-wah, Irene

音樂原住民節目總監，香港作曲家及作詞家協會會員。於香港演藝學院接受正統音樂訓練，以優異成績畢業，獲音樂深造文憑，精通鋼琴、古箏、柳琴，經常參與大型公開演出及錄音，於多間中小學任職音樂導師，為本地活躍音樂份子，錄音作品有《藍月亮》及《東海漁歌》，電影錄音則有李仁港執導之《猛龍》。個人作品有YMCA「愛回家」活動歌曲《決定》、「捌秋一」之《愛…知》。近與英國音樂家Pete Moser合作，為音樂匯演「行行重行行」演出及擔任創作導師，現場鋼琴即興配樂演出則有「林羽劇場」《三十愛不愛》。最近參與之製作有康文署主辦之學校音樂劇計劃「我的生肖不見了」，負責原創歌曲、配樂及歌唱指導。最新配樂作品有荃灣青年劇藝社之《劍客列傳》，該劇並於《戲劇匯演09》中獲多個獎項。

Irene Choi is an active music performer in the local music scene. She is graduated from the Hong Kong Academy Arts. She plays piano and lots of plucked string instrument including Zheng, Ruan and Liuqin. She engaged herself in music education and attempted in writing music for the theatre recently. She is now the Project Director of the Aborigine Music Workshop.

許少榮　HUI Siu-wing, Ivan

音樂原住民創作總監，作曲填詞人、笛子演奏好手。中文大學文化研究碩士，早年於香港演藝學院及浸會大學，修讀舞台表演、音樂創作及音樂教育，曾以詞作《白石嶺公園》、《送你一片陽光》及《歡迎新年到》入選TVB十大兒歌金曲。流行作品包括:張栢芝《賭愛》、Boy’z《男生圍》及洪卓立《鬆郁朦》等。電視主題曲包括:《西廂奇緣》、《御用閒人》、《同撈同煲》等。電影主題曲則有《二月三十》、《星月童話》及《地獄第19層》。舞台作品有《體育時期》、《天奴的眼睛》及《劍客列傳》等。錄音作品有《西遊記 2》、《搖搖擺擺》及《見龍卸甲》等。2009年以《手汗》榮獲CASH流行曲創作大賽二十周年號外歌詞創作大賽冠軍。最新詞作為電影《錦衣衛》主題曲，由2008年BBC音樂大獎得主、有傳奇女伶之稱的薩頂頂主唱。。

Ivan Hui is an active lyric writer in the local music scene and an excellent Chinese flute player. He toyed with writing lyrics for TV dramas and children songs: The he began to make his attempt in pop music market and released the song ‘Bet on Love’ for Cecilia Cheung. The song was once a hot topic in the city an always a favorite his in Karaoke. His releases include the title song of Boy’z “Boys’ Circuit. The artists who have recorded Ivan’s songs included Hacken Lee, Miriam Yeung, Andy Lau and many others. He is the winner of the CASH lyric Writing Competition in 2009. His original creative works can be seen in TVs, Films and many local dramas. His latest lyrical work is the theme song of Kung Fu Film “14 Blades”, performed by Sa Dingding, the winner of the 2008 BBC World Music Award.
